5 string vs 4 string?

I prefer a 4 string, I play my pbass the vast majority of the time. I only really pull out the 5 string to play songs that require the low B.

I play my 5 more than that but I do prefer my 4 string P bass. Maybe because I just like playing P basses? Who knows. Maybe I should look at 5 string P basses next?

I’d let the song dictate the choice of basses I use, I’ll pick up me 4 string every time but if the song has one of the 5 notes on the 5 string I’ll pickup the 5 string.
