If you’re not familiar, The Hard Times is essentially a metal/punk version of The Onion.

Our household has one of those, must be 20+ years old.

Yeah same, I still use one

I use mine when I’ve got something on the bench doing a set up or something. I also kinda low key hate the built in tuner on my helix, but haven’t bought a Peterson yet, so I’ve been using it to tune before I start playing too.

I have a similar one in a drawer somewhere- got it when I got my banjo 20 something years ago-I am sure it still works.

This is from a ā€œhelpfulā€ post on Facebook.

According to the OP, it is intended as a simple way for memorizing the string names of a standard-tuned bass.

You can’t make this shit up. I mean, technically, you could, but why?

Haha. I just opened a small drawer in a little shelf unit under the ā€œI wonder what is in hereā€ premise - Korg tuner.

Clef isn’t even centered over a line either… Going by that the notes are alll wrong .

Apparently, the OP seems partial to working with the enigmatic E clef?!

Notes? We don’t need no stinkin’ notes!
