Solid choice and if you have to hook up on a PA you also got a line out available on the Rumble 500.

I’m in love with my Fender Rumble, and everyone I know who has one seems to feel the same. The 40 is surprisingly powerful, and a mate of mine who is a MUCH better musician than I’ll probably ever be, plays my Matt Bellamy Cort/Manson guitar through it in addition to my bass, and said he was blown away how well it handled both.
You may want to go to the 100, but have a play with the 40 and see what you think…regardless, you won’t go wrong.
