Wow. Two massively influential companies in two days.
Aguilar being bought by Korg was kind of surprising but they havenât been doing much in the way of innovation in quite a few years now. My first thought was, maybe this will be good for Aguilar.
On the other hand, Mesa being acquired by Gibson is shocking. Particularly with the struggles Gibson has had in recent years and Mesa having been ticking right along with releasing the Subway TT-800 in 2020.
