I’m betting it’s Safari related. I quit fighting with it a few years ago and just use Brave for B2B and Talkingbass lessons.
It’s nothing to do with the network insofar as wifi capability goes. As I said above, I. streaming on youtube ok. Might be my computer but it’s been ok prior to couple weeks ago. Today is the first day I haven’t been able to do a lesson.
I’ve never had a problem with Safari at home. I’ll try again over the weekend at home and see how I get on.
It has NOTHING to do with youtube, and doesnt matter how many youtube videos you can view on there. Did you COMPARE the speedtest with BOTH your computer at work and phone on LTE or mobil like i said? I bet it is a world of difference and you are being THROTTLED at work. Hence, why i said its probably WORK related. YOU are the only one having issues.
Lighten up, Francis
100% correct because they use Vimeo for their streaming service.
You really don’t need to use capitals to get your point across.
Oh yes you do……..you will learn!
Turns out you’re half right.
When I got home from work on Friday, I tried the course again on Safari on my Mac. Didn’t work. I then tried Safari on my iPhone and my iPad and it worked just fine on both. Ok, no problem, I brought my iPad into work today.
However, I looked at your post again a bit more closely and installed Brave onto my Mac. Just to be certain, I tried the other methods again and the course worked fine using Safari on both my iPhone and iPad, but it didn’t want to know on my Mac. I then tried the course using Brave on my Mac and it worked just fine, I completed Lessons 3 and 4 of Module 8.
The long and short of it is that there seems to be a problem with the course using Safari on my Mac. I should add here that my Mac is from 2016, whereas my iPhone is a 17 Pro and my iPad is a 2026 M5 Pro, so maybe it’s the age of my Mac.
Whatever, I can now practice BtB modules at work ![]()
Have been using the platform for a couple months without issue. Went away for a,couple weeks and today can’t get any of the videos to play. They seem to load but a ‘working’ wheel that looks like a record keeps spinning in the center. I’ve tried chrome, safari, and brave.
I’ve got the latest MacOS and Safari Version 26.5.2 (21624.2.5.11.8) and it’s playing the slap bass masterclass just fine right this second for me.
This might seem like a pita; but all I did was reload the page and click on the progress meter to the time stamp i was at and that fixed everything. - Windows/Brave/VPN
Same setup here; I just clicked the refresh on the browser window and it took off again.

I’ve been having same issue the last few days. Getting the same “loading circle” on the video sometimes before it loads, sometimes mid video. I’m using an iPad with Chrome browser. Also tried with Safari and same problem. Speed Test shows my internet speed is over 500mbps, so it is not my internet speed.
Have sent a message to the help page.
I’m having issues,
Getting the loading circle of death!
The connection is plenty fast enough!
It seems to work fine if i reduce the resolution,
It could be i need to get a up to date tablet but everything else works fine,
Any tips, tricks, advice would be much appreciated.
I don’t want to get another tablet if it’s not nessessary
I received this reply from customer support. Switched to the legacy video player and It is now working for me.
*“Hi
Thanks for your patience, screenshot and info!
Let’s try something:
We recently added a feature so that you can change back to the “LEGACY” video player in your user “Video Player” settings here:
https://www.bassbuzz.com/beginner-to-badass/home?course-lesson=beginner-to-badass-user-settings
Please make the change, and then RELOAD the video page, and let me know if that helps please?*

Yesterday I noticed that the videos start streaming, after a little waiting. In the beginning the circle was spinning and I thought it wouldn’t load, but then it started buffering and worked fine.
The old player sometimes didn’t want to buffer, so I dropped the resolution. But sometimes it stopped buffering somewhere before the end of the video. The new player maybe just takes more time to load, but once it does, it seems to play more reliably till the end of the video.
But there’s always the option of choosing a lower resolution, because it doesn’t really affect much the quality, and it streams faster.
