Thank you all, Arturia Minifuse 1 wins the contest.
Axe I/O One was very interesting, but size was too much.

I just ordered the Zoom AMS-24 myself (thanks, @howard).
I needed something light & small for “on the road”.
The noise issues you mentioned are more valid for the AMS-22, and only for certain microphones, not for the instrument input.
If you have patience I can post my impressions (compared to my absolutely great Motu M4)…
Good choice, thse are excellent interfaces.
Oh cool!
If it’s like my U24 you’ll be able to hear it but only if you crank the preamp really high, which you shouldn’t need to do in the first place, and even then it won’t matter for instruments.
There were two reasons that convinced me in the end (except for weight, size and great reviews):
I’m very impressed with the audio quality of zoom. I’m using the Q8N 4K for video and audio on my cover videos. Not only it’s the best most flexible and easiest solution for audio recording and videos it’s also reasonably priced as well.
The ams24 is just ridiculous, so jam packed with features.
Before I have bought the Minifuse 1, I saw this youtube video:

Yes, the noise he mentions is a) more prevalent in the AMS-22 and b) only valid for certain microphones (if you can read German, have a look at the Bonedo and Amazona reviews).
I do sing like an angel but I have decided not to, so microphone input is not important to me
Got my Zoom AMS-24.
Size (compared to Motu M4 and Boss Katana GO):
That’s quite ok!
First impression:
If the noise issue remains, I will send it back though. My Motu M4 is almost quiet!
Game changer here!
I will send Minifuse 1 back because I have found and bought a Motu M2 used at 100€!!!
Fantastic interface, well done.

First impression:
- sounds good
- latency is good
- I have some noise on instr-in (guitar), but that might be non-optimal gain settings. WIll experiment a little and give feedback.

I have to say Minifuse 1 (used one full day before take it back) does work very well and I’ll recommend it.
Fantastic interface, well done.
Thank you howard, in late afternoon I’m going to play with it.
