Then this is your answer.

I got two basses, one is on one of those stands where the bass itself sits on two metal posts and the neck leans against this U-shaped thingy, and another bass where it hangs on the neck on this U-shaped thingy.

The first bass will get flat with time, the second bass will get sharp with time. That is because the hanging bass hangs on the neck, and the neck will be straightened out by gravity rather than getting bowed down by the strings.
