I find it appropriate. It’s his look; sock on the bass, clothing, colors, and playing the bass upside down at a very funky level. I saw a recent Flea interview where he listed Mono as, in his opinion, on his list of top three bassist right now. Obviously, his “thing” is working

I’m just starting to learn more about Pino Palladino, so when I looked up his bass I saw his model from the Fender Custom Shop (I think it’s discontinued). I really like it, other than the price and I’m not sure how I feel about “relicing.”

Not really, that’s MonoNeon, the guy the bass is named for.
He also plays a two-string bass like mine (only more…colorful).
