The funniest part is that in the end this thing is a passive P-Bass.

Very worthwhile cause but I don’t think I could find space for that in my collection :flushed:

I want it!
I want it now!

I know its back to the future but at the same time it looks so steampunk-y and it has a flux capacitator and everything.

So the 3 knobs on the body are just aesthetics?

If you could midi control (or somehow control) the number on the panel you could compose an awesome solo with the theme “The evolution of bass” and show the matching years on it!

My assumption: two knobs - one volume, one tone. The three knob-looking things on the lower horn are large metal transistors. The knobby thing by the kbobs with a ring through it looks like a post to hold that lockring

Edit: It turns out I was wrong. One of the knobs is a dual ring for bass/treble, and it’s active after all. The post thing is an active/passive switch. And it turns out the fan works

Yes, I want that! Actually, I would rather just have a lesser priced version as a work of art to hang on the wall, even if it wasn’t playable. All I would need is just one working switch or knob to turn on the flux capacitor and destination numbers.

I will settle for the flux capacitor

Warwick just recently released some Bass Porn I couldnt resist to post here.
Seeing the CNC machine forming the body and giving it the final touch with sand paper looks so extremely satisfying!

I love their custom build videos. I think they do it for any masterbuilt.

Although I’m not a Warwick fan I’ve got to check those videos out. The details of the build process are really cool to see.

I get the Warwick appeal. It’s just not my sound I think. May change my mind in the future.

I am the exact oppopsite. i ADORE the sound of Warwicks and when matured in playing bass, my dream would be a 4 or 5 string Warwick Vampyre. Gosh those are so dope:

That made good viewing :+1: I was sort of determined not to like the finish on the body when I saw the natural wood halfway through the build but seeing the finished build there’s no denying that it is one outstanding bass

I might have misunderstood the title of this thread:

Well, there’s more than one way to arouse bass players

It was good even without that.
I probably wouldn’t have noticed that part without you pointing it out!

Looks like someone left their lightsaber with their bass in a room unattended
