How many basses you down to now? I want you to order it so I dont have to.
If itâs still in stock on Monday, a replacement for the low A bari sax I sold a bit ago. Major upgrade to a âdream bariâ. Hard to not when itâs so so so so much cheaper with the Yen, and, Ikebe is running a sale price on the thing (which is not usually a thing).
Yanagisawa BWO20 bronze bari
Like I said in the other threadâŚ
US $12,990 + 8.375% tax = $14,077
JP $6,972 +4.3% duty (delivered) = $7,271
Savings = $6,805
I could literally not even open the box and sell it and make $1000s. Itâs nuts.
Ahh, very nice. Sounds like an awesome deal.
Fewer. Letâs talk Monday, I should have a couple more basses sold by then, and I sold another amp today so I am down to 1 amp.
My goal is to have a Jazz, my FGN, my Dark Queen, my Custom, and my white D5. And the Paranormal.
Thats a good price on the jazz, I donât think you would lose that much if you didnât bond, and for the record I think you would. Especially if you replaced the single coils with splits.
honestly he might turn a profit; that bass is roughly MIA Fender in quality
This is what my Father would refer to as âMum mathâ. My mum would take the savings on one item that was essential and then use those saving to buy other items which werenât essential. Genius.
Itâs known to me as âTrudy Logicâ for a friend of mine in college. âIf you move your car to overnight parking then you wonât get a ticket in short term parking, and you can use the money you saved on the ticket to take me to the dinerâ.
I am going to put the splits on one of the two bases. The Paranormal has Duncan Apollos, which are pretty good. Letâs see which is better sounding when the T bass gets here
No doubt. I turned a profit on the stream. I could on the FGN - they go for more than I paid on Reverb. Crazy world
I think the orange and white looks great. One of these could possibly cure my GAS for a Jazz Bass.
That is quite significant . Congrats!
I hope you just bought it because it just sold
I bought it hours ago - thank goodness. Thanks for the heads up
Really happy you are all finding this an easy and convenient way to get high quality instruments. Itâs a no brainer for me but itâs awesome the chains are doing so well at taking care of international customers too. Hard to beat MIJ.
Congrats, I was hoping you didnât miss out. Let us know how it plays.
Iâve always been a made in Japan guy (Sony, Lexus, import cdâs back in the day), but never considered a bass. One bass already coming up; but, from what what Iâve learned/picked up from people in the forum whose opinions I respect and, from your MIJ thread, Made In Japan is definitely a part of my future research/purchases.

Iâm sure @T_dub would approve:
