this is pretty clever actually.
Sweet
Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.
DAMN!
@MikeC that bass is gonna be a keeper. Cool feature
Looks like a Nutrik jack. Will be interested to see how you like it.
Cool bass.
I absolutely love Kiesel basses. Those two are particularly effing sweet.
You know I think I love every single design of theirs I have seen, and I just wish their CEO wasnāt such an asshat. Did he ever apologize and do the right thing for that customer service scandal a while back? Might have redeemed himself, I donāt know.
With a Mazeltov and Happy Kwanzaa and glorious Fourth thrown in for good measure.
I have similar features on my Travelers TB4.
Yep, I had seen that those little travel basses had a headphone amp. Makes sense.
Iām just happy Mayones has included this proprietary badass preamp in my custom build. Sometimes waiting forever for something actually pays off.
Yeah I wanted to have one on my custom bass too. Even thought about routing them myself. But how to properly connect to the bass electronics is another story.
Exactly.
This one is designed from the ground up and is completely integrated with the preamp. Plus, it apparently has an internal power supply and 9v power backup, so I guess it must use a dedicated third battery for the headphone amp.
Iām pretty sure I wonāt have a Neutrik jack on mine.
The bass in the photo is a NAMM Show flashy bass, so itās got all the bells and whistles, including the custom wooden knobs that match the top wood finish.
This is why I was curious to find out if my build would have the new preamp.
Yeah he did.
Ahh cool! Good to know, that was not a good look for them.
Their basses look awesome.
I kinda feel like this is almost an obsolete thing at this point, esp if you have a Waza air.
Wireless is the way. I feel like if they want super premium, they should work on a BT xmitter option (hey wait, thatās a great business opportunity for someone smarter than me).
The waza doesnāt use Bluetooth for the instrument sound does it? Iām under the impression the latency problem with Bluetooth is pretty unsolvable, but I havenāt actually dug into that at all.
Iāve experienced no discernible latency with my Waza Air-Bass. Its tech is legit impressive.
