Dang, that’s a nice looking bass! Starting to give me Mayones GAS!

Yeah, man. Mayones are gorgeous, but they play and sound equally amazing. I own two and they are far and away my go-to axes. I own other very fine basses, but Mayones is in another class altogether.

Yeah, your new custom Jabba is super nice, but I don’t need to tell you that, LOL. I think that’s what got me looking at them. I don’t need to buy anything right now, but I have a love/hate relationship with my Corvette and may end up replacing it down the road. The Vikings have caught my eye for sure.

Need and want are sometimes so inextricably linked that it’s hard to distinguish one from the other. The @MikeC custom was the final Mayones GAS straw for me. He was very helpful in helping me design and order mine. Now the only want is “needing” it to get here sooner.

Truer words… though I should have said I need to not buy anything right now and spend some more time in the woodshed to justify it first. But we all know how GAS ends up getting you in the end!

What did you end up going with @booker_t ?

Mayones Vikings are through-neck beauties, for sure.

Both the Viking and Patriot through-neck models are stunning.

The Jabba is Mayones’ refined interpretation of a Jazz body.

Mayones makes truly gorgeous instruments. You should also check out their compatriots, Maruszczyk.

Poland is kinda killing it.

definitely been listening to the warning too much lately, because god i really love that whole growly spector sound. the new ones are out in the classic and also new bolt on neck. i’m not sure why they don’t offer the 4’s with soapbars, but still great looking and sounding. and, of course, damn that green one

and speaking of, i don’t know why spector removed ale’s page from their website. but here is her signature bass at the low low price of $7K. minus led’s.

Interesting. She’s been playing a blue one with matching inlays lately though

There’s always the Warwick option too if you want growly
