Felix Pastorius is an insanely skilled bassist probably more skill than his dad, Jaco. Fortunately, Jaco was more talented and with that he changed the world of bass.

What I am actually thinking of is a stock BB VIII though, not the X CA, which was pretty rare. I’m not guaranteed to buy one but a BB VIII in dark red burst would tempt me.

I think this is the most interesting one to me. I’d have walked out without it. Gone home and got my 300, gone back and traded up to it taking whatever they gave me for the 300. As is, I think you should go back and get it to resell. That goes for double on any site I’ve seen that’s US based.

The MB’s have a cult following AND there’s a ton of them out there, so they are usually inexpensive here. MIJ too!
I’m glad that site doesn’t translate for me so I could see if they ship internationally. That’s under $200, even shipping from Japan would put it under what I’ve seen them go for on Reverb.
This site is domestic only but there is a US affiliate at mercari.com - you could maybe look there and see if there is any provision to order off the Japan site but I strongly doubt it. It’s basically ebay for Japan.
There’s also Yahoo Auctions here but I like Mercari a lot more.
