The Last Emperor. A truly unique custom.
A classic
They don’t make very many of these (like 20/year per each of their lines, IIRC). Super nice.
Yeah I know unfortunately. I emailed the company and had a nice chat about them.
I also think those are gorgeous. I think I say that every time they come up, but it’s always true.
@Bassic These three most recent examples are superbly stunning basses.

And now, this. Had to Google Lens the pic, but it only took seconds to track down. McGrath medium scale fiver.
Very nice. I like the way the pickups look against that scratch plate
- There is a band called Mac Sabbath.
- The bass player is called Grimalice (Grimace + malice
). - This is his custom axe:
(ba, ba, ba, ba, baa) I’m not lovin’ it

I love that they went Full Goth and used the Russian Orthodox version of the M logo, with suppedaneum.
(yes I had to look that up)
Ronald actually played bass, Hendrix-style, but with very low-tension strings.
At first glance, I thought the M axe was a guitar.
I had suppedaneum once. Antibiotics cleared me right up.
I’m only seeing four strings on Grimmace’s instrument. Looks like they were a two-bass hit.
