Pretty nice for a Fender

Apparently it takes the Japanese to kick some aesthetic sense into the upper echelon at Fender!

Agree!

matching headstock, black on red, outlined pickguard, satin body, satin neck, black nickel hardware, etc - very nice modern look on a classic

there is also a Fender line called the Boxer series right now that has a couple of other solid color P/J basses with black headstocks.

I swear the bass looks twice as good that way, just from the black headstock.

If you want a nice looking MIJ P/J from Fender check out the Aerodyne, it’s amazing too.

I too saw these on thomann.de recently, but there’s only two colors, red and green… Why did they have to go with those two? I can’t decide which one looks worse If it came out in white I’d buy one instantly.

I know. I love red, and I love green, and I usually love Fender’s color choices, but that red and that green are not doing it for me without a pickguard on a P or J style body.

You know what would fix them too? A racing stripe.

I wish it had black hardware, bridge and tuners. can’t tell if the knobs are black or not from that picture.
But yeah, I would defiantly consider that for the P-bass I plan to get one day.

I would love that bass if it was orange with the black. man Oh Man, that could be the official Bass Buzz bass (commercially produced bass, not the signature Brian is making)

Wait, no, not that green, YUK.
I could do the Red one tho, it is pretty flashy.
Wish they had Orange, but not that soft pastel Orange on the Fender Players series.
More like Bass Buzz Orange

edit: IDK why the website won’t get the full bas in my screen for a screen shot. thats kind of lame, but yeah, it has roasted maple headstock with gold hardware. but It should have had the metallic purple matching headstock.
I think they kind of blew it on that one.
