that whole album is good.
Yeah gonna check it out. Iâve been on a little pop-punk kick recently.
Wait, hold on.
You are telling me that, that is a custom?
WTF, you canât just go get them in GC.
Darn
I saw her playing live last night, but it was from a couple weeks ago or maybe a month, I donât remember, but she sure knows how to play and shake that thing.
Camera was behind her, focused on the guitar player. Good view.
OK you guys. I dunno, WTF but I love you and this is the bass porn thread??
So I am guessing these guys and Nekromantix tour together and Kim just has a long night?
Oh yeah this is solid.
Sheâs great!!!
I have been a diehard Rev fan for years and years.
If I get an upright someday it is for one reason and one reason only, J-I-M-B-O.
To me this is slap!
Used to love punk rockabilly bands. Didnât knew they were connected. Just listened to a few songs from Nekromantixs as well
nekromantix are one of the grandaddys of psychobilly, been around forever. horrorpops are newer, his wifeâs band, and Kim plays guitar in them. the other band is unrelated. and she made headlines a few years ago when she sued a doll company that put out a doll that was quite obviously umm her. I wish I had gotten one of those.
Cramps were the first psychobilly band but Nekromantixâs sound / image looks like a mix between Cramps and Misfits.
Yeah, I love the Cramps, and I canât really get into to many other bands after them, cuz it is all an apparent rip off. It is all great stuff, and I have the Netromantix on the hard drive in my car, so Yeah, I like the style, but not though for a whole slew of bands to come out. I saw the SuperSuckers headline the âPunk Rock Pic-nickâ after a whole day of Punk Bands, and the local HB band BoneCrusher played before them and stole their show.
Thats just my taste however, the music really is great. its kind of like how âRoyal Crown Reviewâ from " Regan Youth" (was it? I know it was from a hardcore band) was great fun, but one Swing Punk band is enough. Props to Squirrel Nut Zippers tho.
Itâs hard to do the formula of the Cramps if youâre not Lux and Poison. Pulling off that level of trashy sleaze just doesnât work well for many bands. And Cramps fans will know exactly what I mean and not be offended by that comment at all.
Most bands I have seen try it (usually local bands in small clubs) go too far and become just kind of cheesy-creepy and not in the good way the Cramps were.
Nashville Pussy was pretty good, but they were still a bit more hard and fast then straight Phycohobily, probably more Punkabilly
Plus, they also had a Pin Up model Bass Player too. Corey Parks
I actually like punkabilly, folkpunk and cowpunk more than psychobilly.
you would like tex and the Horseheads. and you prob already have heard the meatpuppets.
Anyone ever seen/played a Zemaitis bass?
Wow!
