If shipping, import tax and handling costs wouldnāt effectively double the price, I would totally grab it.
Iāve seen a few Aerodyneās of that color in person and they are really nice looking basses.
Thereās one for sale exactly like that here atm
@howard and @Mac I think the candy apple red models were made for the Japanese market only. They are pretty much impossible to find this side of the world.

The red ones seem to go for more here in the States as well, just cause, they are red.
Those prices are literally half the cost of an Aerodyne here in Europe.
Theyāre a no brainer at those prices.
Itās a fantastic price for a MIJ Fender. Which means itās a slightly expensive price for a quite nice bass 
Itās definitely high on my list of Fenders here for sure. If I were to buy a MIJ Fender I would probably want this one:
Itās a straight P with a modern C neck. And I love that color so much.
A bit more than an Aerodyne; maybe a bit overpriced but a really nice bass all around.
The only bummer is the nonmatching headstock just looks awkward and out of place with the dark bass body and rosewood. I donāt know where they were going with that one.
You donāt see many Fenders with a transparent finish. Good looking bass
I like its tuning pegs a lot more than clovers too.
Fender did that color pattern on my American Performer too. Itās not great and even worse with that beautiful blue.
Thatās a lovely deal. Someone should jump on that.
