Federico here from Argentina!
I have a Warwick Rockbass Streamer STD 5-string bass with MEC Vintage Humbucker Pickups, and I've installed a preamp with volume (push-pull active/passive), balance, and concentric bass and treble controls.
I really like the sound of Dirk Lance (Incubus) and Sam Rivers (RIP) from Limp Bizkit.
I'm planning to install a brass nut and put on La Bella steel strings, or here in Argentina they sell some very good ones called Magma, but always steel strings.
Any other recommendations for improving the bass, besides the things I've already done?
Any advice on achieving that sound (Fender Rumble 40 amplifier EQ)? I also have a Zoom B1on. Any presets/patches?

Congrats man. You don’t need to do anything to it. The MEC should sounds pretty good already.
