Bassbuzz for drums?

Hi all

Yesterday a new cardio machine/instrument joined the band, drums! An alesis nitro pro.

It’s for me and my daughters and we have almost no experience on it.

It comes with a 90 day trial on a learning platform (I didn’t check it ), but I’m searching for something like bassbuzz, one time payment, a handsome and funny teacher, a great team behind the course a great community…

It exist?

Salut

I can guess at which learning platform that would be  I haven’t come across a BassBuzz equivalent for drums, but you can do the 90 day trial of that platform to do the “new drummers start here” and one or two of the 30 day drummer courses, which will get you started. Have fun with the instrument!

Drumeo is a subscription based service, but they have free lessons: https://www.drumlessons.com

How good they are…. :person_shrugging: I’m not a drummer. I just lnow that it exists.

I like some of the 10 day and 30 day courses quite a bit, there is a newer one on 90s rock drumming for example that I found quite enjoyable.

The self-paced learning path called the Drumeo Method I found uneven in terms of how everything builds up. I remember for example finding that going from the first section to the one on rudiments was quite jarring - suddenly it went from basic grooves, adding some fills, whatnot, to a large chunk of coursework with only rudiments and in a different style.
I understand that method has been reworked but I have no idea how that came out.

It’s a very fun instrument and naturally very much complements bass learning.
