Our time is brief. I am grateful that I can buy the instruments and accessories that bring me joy and I am grateful that I have the health to play them.
I am obviously here striving to learn and improve and even developed specific goals, but I don’t fret about where I’m at, the pace at which I’m progressing, challenges, difficulties, whatever.
In fact, I’m grateful I have those as well. Again, the time may come when I cannot play at all.
