Bass head to home speaker.
Depends on the head and the stereo speakers, it’s not like the speakers in the Rumble 25 or 40 are actually good either
But a Rumble 800? Yeah, boom. Way over the wattage of most home stereos.
You are right they are very middle of the road 8" and 10" but they are industrial strength compare to the high end HiFi stereo speakers.
Wouldn’t a stereo system usually have to deal with a higher frequency range when a bass amp needs to?
It needs to reproduce everything, from very low frequencies in some recordings up to very high stuff?
If the system has components that are designed to work together, shouldn’t the speakers have enough headroom to reproduce everything the amp throws at them withouth blowing?
Just an update: Success. I connected my Vox amplug 3 with my stereo receiver, and it works just fine. Keeping the input and volume low, as I don’t need the “wall of sound” effect. Just want something other than having to wear headphones when I practice.
Nice!
