We’re talking about tube preamps, other pedals, and tubes in general in like three topics now. So I made a new one. Latest round, we’re discussing things like the Eden Glowplug: [Eden GlowPlug Tube Warmer Pedal - Product Demo] a cute little simple inline tube preamp to add tube color to a pedalboard. This started from looking at tube preamp pedals, like the Le Bass: [Two notes Audio Engineering - Le Bass Dual-channel tube preamp DEMO]

I love my EBS ValveDrive. Playing with different tubes in it. It sounded great with the stock 12AX7 and I think it’s even better with a JJ5751.

I came really close to springing for a Le Bass but really, the ValveDrive brings all the tube warmth and breakup I’d expect. Great preamp.
