Just looking over an event at a local music store and they are having a promotion on Canadian made equipment. I saw in the list, Dingwall.
Looked it up, turns out 7 of the 9 models they sell are made in Saskatoon, SK!
Cool!

yep. they’re probably all nice and polite and shit.
LOL, ya, we tend to get on peoples nerves with how nice and polite and shit we are.
i don’t think it gets on our nerves, i think it just makes us look bad
which we are btw
They have several models (the new SP1 included) that are made in Indonesia to Dingwall’s standards and then setup in Saskatoon before shipment to a dealer or direct to a customer in some cases. My new black SP1-4 (delivered) and white SP1-5 (due in 2-4 weeks) traveled from Indonesia to Dingwall in Canada to Bass Freaks in Belgium to me in France. Even after all of that travel, my SP1-4 arrived in perfect condition in a really nice custom Dingwall gig bag.
You don’t need us to do that
Yes @groaner they are Canadian and I’ve just ordered my first Dingwall!
Pretty excited about it. Not custom shop because I don’t have $7000 but it’s their made in Indonesia / setup and QC back in SK model - SP1
Nice Barney! And the Canadian colours too! Congrats!
I just purchased a Canadian made Godin guitar. I am very happy I bought a Godin.
Nah, we love Canadiens and are sorry to see fewer around town. We talk shit about them but secretly we love them.
I live in a tourist town, (with a ferry to Victoria BC). We get a lot of tourists in, and I can tell you we would much rather have Canadien tourists than American tourists
Hi, @Wombat-metal, people from Canada are called Canadians . You have spelt it as Canadiens 2X. Just saying
Thinking of the Hockey team apparently
Canadien is the French term which is where my family ties are from

I have several Canadian-born friends. Great folks, all.
All of us US expats will probably start telling people we’re Canadian.
We like people who like us.
I hear it’s already happening!
I joke about it but… yeah I know people doing it.
My wife is pretty okay too imo.
I didn’t even wait till I was an expat to do that. I live with a Canadian so I can slip in to the accent whenever.
