Focurite Scarlett III Typc C Mess

The B type, or whatever it was called (mostly used in printers), was as tough a connector as there ever was that didn’t have a screw or push in shell (think XLR or BNC).

Still, why does the type C in my phone take plug/ unplug every day for 6 years and never has a problem?

Time for more manufacturers to include a power switch on the interface. I unplug my Minifuse almost daily from the laptop side purely so the lights aren’t on as I’m sleeping in the same room and they are very bright. Kinda wish I’d gone the Volt 2.

I really dislike bus powered gear. Sure, it’s convenient, but none of it seems to have a power switch. It’s super irritating.

A power switch could easily cost a cent per unit. In consumer engineering, the bean counters make the engineers shave every fractional cent from each unit.

Ever bought a kitchen countertop device (say a popcorn popper) with a cord that’s almost long enough to put the popper on the countertop while it’s still plugged into the wall? Worse, the manual says the ultra short cord is for safety reasons? Bingo!

Have you tried eye shades?

Sorry I was a little late to the party, but this issue has nothing to do with the USB on the computer. I know Apple fans really love their stuff, but this problem is on the other end of the cable.
