My employer exploits me anyways! 
Work insane amount of hours, nights, weekends, and I hate my job. It would be easier if I loved it. All going to come to an end here soon anyways. They are outsourcing all of our IT positions to India, where the exploitation can be tenfold!

I bought my first bass not so long ago, a Yamaha TRBX604, but I now have a second one. A Sire Marcus Miller P7 tobacco sunburst in swamp ash. I intend to keep the Yamaha in my practice space and the new Sire by my desk (I work from home) so I can just grab it for a few minutes practice without leaving my desk.

GAS struck again, new fruit 
in da house. Got me a new speaker, an Orange OBC-115 with a single 15" Eminence Kappa speaker. Tested it a few days now, superb sound and a tight response with a warm tone, but it can growl like a pack of wolves when needed.
Can be used as wrecking ball as well

Not for bass, but since some of us have guitars as well:
Only $50 today. (it’s still $50) Color is a little meh to me, but it’s not a bad price for what appears to be a good bag. Saw it on another forum/board.

Someone on TalkBass showed me these @JoshFossgreen Coco’s Handmade Vegan Guitar Straps. They are lightly padded, and I was told that while not on the site, she can also do 3" wide straps.

I got this in:
Anyone with an Ibanez Mikro that wants a nice gig bag, it fits very well into this thing (and probably most guitar gig bags tbh)
Also fits my SRC6; I can’t say about other short scale basses.
