It’s a 100 acres @MC-Canadastan
Great! I was right about everything else then ![]()
Maybe
Australia is so big, every newborn gets given 45 acres by the government. So @Mac just topped up his allowance with another 55 acres. Fact.

IIRC we decided we were having our first BassBuzz global jamboree at @Mac’s sprawling ranch
LOL I’ve done this with every bass except the 2 I built (Poison Apple and Turquoise Waters, plus the Moolah Bass, which I’m still building) and the Steinberger.
You’re certainly welcome. Bring your own tent and water ![]()
The water thing is actually not as crazy as it sounds. We’re totally reliant on rain water for all our needs and luckily this year have had a bit after 7 years of drought
I wish! Having said that in some areas land is not expensive compared to other parts of the world.
I can honestly say I would never have had the opportunity to own anywhere near this amount of land in the UK
Definitely not @RuknRole
That’s why I have a tractor and 15 of these
Lol that will work! Any cows?
No definitely not @RuknRole
A lot of the land is bush and I don’t want anything that would compete with the horses for grazing apart from the roos and wallabies
That is vital and more important than anything else. Where in Australia are you? At least you have the privilege of being able to turn up an amp without bothering a neighbor… ![]()
I’m in Queensland @franx
Must be completely different to the south. I have only been to Sydney and I loved it. People were really nice and I had only good experiences. I even considered moving, haha. It’s such a huge continent!
Never been to Sydney other than the airport but spent the last 7 years working down in Melbourne.
Much prefer the climate up here and most of the people but the mosquitoes are insane!
Because I’m worth it

I heard a joke via Bill Maher the other day…
“You know why divorces are so expensive?”
“Because they’re worth it.”

Do they all live out on the paddock?
