Yeah was eyeballing it for a while too…it has two of the important processing tools for bass: an (optical) comp and a shaping EQ together in a four knob pedal
Im using it with other comps and pedals, but I think it would be great even by itself or at the end of a small pedal board just to ‘professionalize’ the sound
I was going to order from their website but I got it from a dealer who had a slightly better black Friday special going
So I got my first fretless today, a Harley Benton jazz bass clone. It needs a setup and better strings, but at this price point I can’t really argue about that. I like the look and finish, but it weighs a ton

With cheap basses comes heavy wood, just how it normally goes.
HBs are all around great buys, and you can always upgrade the pickups if you want to improve sound over time.
I’m actually pleasantly surprised with the fit and finish. It requires better strings and a proper setup, but I expected this, the price has to come from somewhere, and this is an easy fix.
