Sorry to see that. I’ve had that type of thing happen to me ~3 times in the past.
The only encouraging thing I can say is at least the fingernail is out of the way now.
Amazon has some finger tips for guitar players but they are more for the pad of your finger.
Hope you can get to playing bass again soon.
