Grounding issues

To answer this… you paint it (or tape it) and run a wire to it, see the pic I just posted. Mine came that way.

When I’ve done this, i simply add another piece of wire to the ground connection, bare the end of it and tape that into the copper shielding tape.
I get that it seems antithetical, but what’s really happening is you are getting all of the metal parts (ie. Bridge) to an equipotential state. Meaning no one part has more resistance than another. This cuts noise and those nasty little shocks from strings.
