Just wondering if anyone had anymore insight on the Boss GT1-B? I’m about to pull the trigger on one to satisfy my quest for more options and temporary GAS relief.
The only reviews that I’ve seen that have me concerned is the couple that say it has issues with active basses? I have passive pickups, but an active pre-amp (Ibanez SR 370E) so I don’t think I’ll have an issue.
But my next bass will most likely be active… (Schecter SLS Elite-4 in Black Fade Burst). But I have to ask… if the active bass is putting out too much for the pedal to handle… couldn’t you use the volume knob on the bass and back it off just a tad to correct the problem??? Or is there something here I’m missing???
