There are a lot of people who rate them very highly. I think weight was an issue for the O.P

I have 2 basses… a MiM Fender jazz and a Harley Benton JJ-45OP. 9 times out of 10 I’m picking up the HB to play. It’s about a half pound lighter, sounds awesome (I upgraded the pups with EMG’s), neck fits my hand perfectly and it looks really good.
I like it so much that I am selling my Fender jazz to aquire more Harley Benton basses. The JP-45OP is already on its way. I really would like to add the Marquess-4 and either the MB-4 or the B450, as well.
Will they stand the test of time and handle the rigors of daily playing and travel? Only time will tell. I’m already almost 60. If they last me a decade I’ll be a happy camper.

I’m saving for an HBZ-2005. They have fantastic reviews on YT from people who claim to have bought them with their own money. I’ve heard that the B-450/B-550 are amazing too (I’m sure the B-650 is too, but I can’t imagine ever playing a six string).
