In rememberance of @Pampurrs (Pam Anders) - 1 year ago today

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the death of our very own Bad Ass Bass Gal @PamPurrs, who was instrumental in developing this community, setting the helpful/friendly tone we have, and creating a legacy for us all to enjoy.

So today, spend a couple minutes honoring Pam by watching one of her videos and feel free to share any rememberances you like.

Pam was crazy helpful to many Buzzers, especially as an inspiration.

She achieved so much, so relatively quickly, through fierce dedication and practice. She was laser-focused and always ready to offer encouragement to others. She ultimately learned to play electric bass, upright bass and piano, as well as how to produce videos of her covers. She personified the philosophy of: If not now, when? She is truly a badass to respect and remember.

Yes via Facebook. She downsized and is happy in her new place and finally restarting her craft business on the side.

A year already? It doesn’t seem possible that she’s been gone that long, her presence is still felt!

When I was starting out I kept finding myself on these pages from google queries. And time and again, it was Pam’s clear and helpful responses (along with many others still here) that made me join and ultimately try to contribute.

My thanks to you always, Pam.

Dang, 1 year already. Time moves so quickly, it’s hard to keep up. @John_E and Pam were my guides into recording, some truly great videos they did together.

Rest easy, Pam, and know that you changed lives.

Pam was one of the first to welcome me to the forum. Because of her videos I started to make my own. I can’t believe it’s been a year already. Miss you Pam!

Me too. She gifted me a Donner compression pedal through the Pay it Forward thread.

I can’t believe it’s been a year. Man, the last 2 years have sucked.

I knew she was ill, but I had taken a hiatus last July and missed her passing. Always friendly, helpful, inclusive and cheerful. Definitely one of a handful of people who were so warm and welcoming when I joined the forum.

Always nice to remember those who are dear to us during the holiday season. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
