@BassFaceDisgrace Great write up. Glad you found what worked for you.
Nice Congratulations! I hope you will have a lot of good times with it!
Nice choice, @Guto! Love the looks, especially with the black tuning pegs and knobs. Congrats!
How do you like it so far? And if you donât mind me asking, how much was it?
Iâm also a RHCP and RATM fan, and I think the two common basses between Tim and Flea over the years are MM Stingrays and Fender Jazz basses, so if they are your main inspirations, youâre pretty well covered with this beauty.
Hello @gabriel!!
Iâm loving it!! Itâs gorgeous, smooth and plays so easy!!
The sound Iâm getting from it itâs really close from Flea and Tim!!
Canât stop playing their songs!! I would always suggest someone to get a bass like this!!
I bought it in Canada for CAD$1000 .
ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
That paint scheme is incredible
Yeah and the back is kind of green-ish in the center.
Itâs really different from other Sterlingâs/MusicMan.
I loved it!!
Thanks!!!
Funny thing is that I have a small apartament and every time Iâm playing bass my wife is around, doing her stuff and have seen me practicing many many times.
However, she still havenât noticed that I switched basses (from Squier to Sterling) and today just to make sure I asked her if she still liked the looking of my bass. She confirmed saying she liked it since I first got it.
LOL!!!
Does a thousand dollar bass still count as intermediary?
Nice! Way to keep it under the radar. That means the first one didnât count and you can now get another second Bass!
By checking the prices of other basses in the store, I would say yes.
This one is not even half the price of the entry level MusicMan.
Really really nice.
@eric.kiser that is great advice very well explained
Jamie
So my 400⏠(Retail 600âŹ) ESP Ltd. counts as intermediary, right? Because I was exactly where @Guto was. Just seems my journey from âMh⌠maybeeeâŚâ to âI WANT THIS ONE!â was a lot quicker.
But I also rather went down in budget than up.
Could not be happier with it so I kind of understand this:
Very nice that you like your new bass.
Be careful with recommendations like that as all recommendations here were something like: âtake a look at this one.â âthis model is good.â because as the explanations in this thread make clear: The perfect bass for everyone doesnât exist. The perfect bass for you might.
Thatâs true!! I agree with you!
So I should say that this is a great bass and Iâm loving it!
Hm. I see that i shouldnât have wandered into this thread, damnit
