Hi, I wanted to play the drums as a kid, but since my mom didn’t want to hear them in the house I ended up playing flute and desperately tried to channel Ian Anderson! I eventually learned some drums, but I live in a city in dense housing, so sound was still an issue. The bass is perfect and I’m thoroughly enjoying these lessons. Josh…I started Tai Chi, totally digging it and have been a vegan since 2002 
My daughter graduates HS next week so I’ll have a lot more free time soon and look forward to eventually having the courage to jam with local musicians in the DC area. Nice to meet everyone!

Done 9/109 and still haven’t introduced myself yet. Maybe worth doing so? Hi! I’m Krin, 33. Based in the Basque Country. 
Been playing on/off the ukulele and a little bit of the guitar for more than 10yrs now but Since I don’t play as much, i’m stuck at the basic end lol
Used to own a bass when I was in Uni but never got to learn it so gave it away to a friend who makes music for a living when I lived on an island in the PH.
Now that I literally have not much of a free time having a 16month boy and learning Spanish, I have decided to get myself a bass… again! Here’s hoping I’d learn it this time, and not just be stuck with the basics.

Ha! Same here, @MamaT! I pulled out all of my Mom’s pots and pans on the kitchen floor and used her crochet needles as drumsticks! She wasn’t pleased.
