Is it me, or is it Memorex?*

My starter instrument was a knock-off to begin with, off eBay to boot, and did not arrive in the best of shape. (The owner of the shop up the street, who was kind enough to do the initial setup (including some serious elbow grease into getting the neck into something approximating ‘not bent’), was frankly pissed that someone sold it in that shape.)

Anyway, I decided to bite the bullet and get a proper instrument, so at a minimum I could only really blame myself if it sounded like crap .

So please meet my new Fender Mustang! I love it already - a little shorter, definitely cleaner, and no loose/missing knobs, either!

*obscure reference, as usual.

Very nice looking instrument. I’m a fan of short scales and have looked at those myself.

I’ve still got my eye on one of those and that colour is one of my favourites
