GAS has kicked in and this has popped up on marketplaces close to me. Been looking at a jazz to accompany my one and only other bass, my Yamaha TRBX174.
Need some thoughts on this from the brains trust please. Not fussed about dings and scratches. Just wanting to know if these are any good.
MIJ Squier Jazz Bass
The MIJ’s from that era are highly regarded. Fender was contracting them to a couple manufacurers here and both made high quality instruments.
I should add, it’s a Squier. Apologies if I didn’t make that clear in my original post. I’ll go back and edit it

For Fender itself, while the MIA’s and MIM’s have had ups and downs over the years, in general I don’t think there has ever been a bad time for MIJ.
