@juli0r Looks like I was led astray by the Bang bang…
Born '86 seems pretty young looking around the place
I purchased my 5th house in 1986 LOL
Hmmm. 1986. College. Metal. College. Metal. DnD. More metal. Part time job. More metal.
There was the metal thing too.
Yep I’m with you with the metal thing .
1986 was a little more traumatic for me.
Had long hair cut to a respectable length and started a very interesting job that would last over 20 years
For me 1986 was: still teenager, deeply post-punk/industrial/proto-EDM (we called it EBM back then), getting busted a lot for ditching high school to hang out downtown in places of ill repute with great music and lax ID checks
That place sounds like heaven
1986 - Set of 11 year old boys, and set of 8 year old girls. Living in Kodiak, Alaska. One local radio station that only broadcast from 6 AM to 12 midnight. Played the National Anthem as the first song in the morning. Played different genres of music throughout the day (Country, Classic, Classical, Rock). At noon each day a one hour program called “Learning to speak Yu’pik with Rosie” would come on so people like myself could learn the basics of communication with the natives in the villages.
That’s really cool
