Curious which restaurant is yours?
I’m in SoCal now ![]()
The restaurant is in Irwindale, between Pasadena and San Dimas.
I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to say thanks so much for posting this question @geoff and to everyone who replied with helpful advice. Struggling with the exact same thing at the moment, also mainly on the higher strings.
Thanks to this thread I figured out that my issue is definitely angle- and ‘timing/duration of attack’-related. I seem to have a tendency to stretch my fingers up for reach while remaining anchored on the E or the pick-up, resulting in a much flatter angle and (for lack of a better term) ‘more finger’ on the higher string. Slightly adjusting the whole hand position when string crossing, instead of simply stretching the fingers, seems to help.
Really grateful for this community!
