It has been a year since I posted my last picture of my pedalboard
I was a little surprised to see how different it is…I only have 1-2 pedals that are the same (the echo fix spring verb is still there and I have a JHS colour box but it is the grey version rather than the original white)
My fav is probably the Suncoast limiter pedal…it is a bit misunderstood as reviews I have seen talk about it like a peak limiter but it is actually an RMS limiter
The signal flow is bass into the Peterson tuner then right to left along the bottom and finishing with the Colour box 10

Right? I switched things up a little bit a few months ago with my bass signal chain and I’m down to a multi effect and a preamp / DI box.
I figured out for bass that my Boss GX-10 suits my needs perfectly. If I wanna go apeshit with effects, I do it on guitar.

Hey @fennario I also got that Joyo Monomyth, but there’s a weird sound out of the box from time to time, i finally decided to not use it anymore…. did it work fine for you? any weird issues?

Starting out in the world of bass playing, I first tried buying a Joyo Monomyth preamp, but it gave me several problems. Now I’ve decided to buy the Boss ME-90B pedalboard, which has lots of options. Any advice, comments, or recommendations? Experiences? I’m so excited to play with this new “toy”… lol…

Hey @Carlos.Murillo , I never had any issues with it and it’s been great. I believe @MattyD also has one, perhaps he can share his experience as well?
That said, I wound up pulling it off of the pedalboard as I only really ever used it to tweak EQ, and I picked up a JHS Colour Box which I use for that instead now.

(And yes, the light on the Colour Box is like a freaking beacon in the night!)

Got it…. I saw a demo for this joyo box … and that weird sound showed up on that youtube video as well… lol…. the box had a hardware issue…. mmmm … I bought it from US, but im from Costa Rica, so i couldnt sent it back for a replacement… bad luck for me….

It’s so weird, from time to time, it sounds like a “beeeeeeeepppppp”…… so annoying, and I have to turn it off and on to stop it…The only clue I could gather is to connect a power source isolated from any other device, just for this joyo box…. but I got recently the Boss ME-90B pedalboard, i haven’t tried it again…

I have an issue in my signal chain where audio becomes farty, sounds like a ground loop, or cuts in/out. Seems to only happen when playing at volume with others. It’s not breaking up like distortion/gain but just weird things at random.
I thought it was my wireless system battery but that’s not it, my bass battery got swapped and when I tested the old battery wasn’t low.
I’ve removed my joy orthos ab pedal since I don’t need it.
I noticed on the Monomyth the jack ring on the output jack seemed loose so I wondered if it was a ground issue because of that but I don’t know.
If there’s a video of issues I could compare but I can’t reproduce my issues through predictable testing.

Oh, I remember watching this video! That explains it exactly, but I haven’t had that issue with mine. Might have been an issue with an early batch?
