So i can relate to this. I actually feel like i sound a little better with a crisper, more direct attack. For myself i think it has somethingto do with a previous (p.f. ugly) hand injury that crushed the plucking fingers. After 25 years, i still can’t really feel anything with them.
Or, conversely-this could be directly related to my complete lack of ear training and musical ability/experience.
For what it’s worth, it isn’t just you.
