The Hives - Come On!
I went to see The Hives at the Alexandra Palace with my cousin last weekend. They were freakin’ fantastic! They also played this song, all one minute of it. So turn it up loud and COME ON!
Ibanez EHB1000S, into GarageBand via my Hotone Ampero. Super-dirty tone! Bass line played thrice .

Here’s my cover of Watermelon Man by Herbie Hancock. A jazz funk classic.
I’ve been playing it way better in practice, I promise. But I’m short on time this morning and today’s the last day I can record before travelling for Christmas, so here it is. There was even a sound glitch halfway through that almost threw off my timing.
Super fun song to play, when the drums kick in everything feels so damn groovy.
One day I hope to be able to play without staring so intently at the fretboard.

This is the way it is for a lot of us. You play it perfectly a million times in a row, then as soon as you hit that red button it falls apart - often on the easier bits.
