When I was touring with the bluegrass scene this was the first Billy Strings band I saw - mid-day at Del Fest in Maryland.
The last time I saw him he and his entire band were super stoner-jammers, blazing it up backstage and then came out, buried in a fog of… lots of things when they came out for their late night set for all the wild ragers.
He’s a total badass.
I loved the bluegrass ZZ Top vibes I got from this iteration of his band/music.
