Thanks for the “good music” vote of confidence @peterhuppertz!
And @howard - yes - that is the Modulus.
A 35" scale 5 string Quantum Sweet Spot - built along the same lines as the Stingray basses as far as single, fat soapbar pickup near the bridge.
In my jazz-studying days I popped an EMG jazz bass pickup right down by the bridge to get the extreme j-bass bridge quacky sound.
I don’t use it ever in Toast Machine, but it’s there, and it’s on. Everything’s on, and turned up as far as I can turn it.
That was awesome. I have been spending time learning a few Sabbath songs. If I ever can get my recording set up, a sabbath cover is probably first on my list. NIB or Paranoid at this point.
But I have also been playing with “Orion”. And “Date Rape”. So, who knows at this point.
I loved White Zombie. La Sexercisto - Devil Music Volume 1 is one of my favorite 90’s thrash metal ish albums.
I never could get much into his solo stuff early on, and sort of stopped trying. Idk, maybe I should revisit this?
Check out that album I stated above. It’s his masterpiece. That’s why I couldn’t get into him much after that, and why White Zombie fizzled. It’s hard to top near perfection.
No I am that guy who is the last to leave your house and doesn’t get invited back…I was how about lou reed, Janes Addiction, iggy pop, david bowie, something from Jeff Beck from blow by blow or wired…planning on being here a while, theres time…LOL
‘‘This is one of the 3-5 songs I been working on.
His baselines are wicked fun, IMO I have briefly looked at a few, but this is the one I am sticking with for now.
