That’s funny
To me maple sound just a little brighter than rosewood.
When in doubt gas it.
So those two MM Rays on your wall are SS? They are awesome looking and sounding bass’s. I have not played a SS one, but I may get a SS Sterling Ray4 sometime.
I don’t have any MM Stingrays yet, just got to find a good deal tho.
I have Sterling Ray4, Ray4HH and Ray34.
My Ray 34 is in the shop getting Plek’d
There nothing wrong with Sterling bass guitars. Some of the colors on sterling bass guitar are awesome. You would be surprised how fast you can play on a shorty.
Oh no, I don’t think there is, and the Ray34’s are pretty damn close. There are many out there that say it is not worth the money to upgrade from top level Sterling to Ernie Ball MM.
Of course, I want at least one, to say I had one if nothing else, being a Stingray guy myself, and I will get one one day, but I thoroughly enjoy my SBMM in the meantime.
I totally agree with you. %.
You better get there soon because I’m going to enjoy reading about that
Why, are you stage 4 cancer?
Not that cancer is a joke by any means, but…whats the rush?
I want the right now, not the available one, unless the available one is right.
Cuz I’ll be happy for you ya dumbass
Nah, you’re right there’s no hurry. The best things take a while methinks
I know, just throwing it back at you buddy
I know, me too
I might be more excited about you getting one than you are
Of course you are. It is why we all encourage others to purchase all the time.
we get a lot of the joy of new products, without having to foot the bill.
Once we get others to get what they want, we then get the jealous bug and make the plunge ourselves.
If I did not mean purchasing a bass 6x more then the most expensive one I have purchased thus far, i would have had 3 already. Probably 2, if not all 3 would be the same orange one with that awesome tiger ish fretboard
I’ve thought about getting one of these for sh*ts and giggles once I get rid of a couple of my cheapies but I’ve got a saddle for my Clydesdale X to get first
ashdown, the amp manufacturer (they make my new amp)
Make your new amp, or new bass?
I was just looking at an Ashdown Amp that was on Amazon for a ridiculous low price, considering they are $399 on Reverb, and even from one seller on Amazon. I only kind of decided against it when I realized I have a Gallien Krueger sitting around, and decided to check if it had DI for recording. It does, so I kind of held off on getting a new amp. Looked like a really cool amp tho, the RootMaster. It is a few years older model, but still, nice.
Oh nice, how do you like it?
I was looking at the RM 220. Looks like a bad lilttle head. They are asking $143 for it on Amazon, but a different seller has it for $399. What is wrong with this picture? I am almost thinking I SHOULD get it and flip it???
What did you pay for that one?
Floor demo, $500 which was a fair price. It’s got a great tone, versatile, looks cool. Has a line in with variable gain which I find really handy, can jam along with your phone. The only thing I don’t like is it has 2 inputs, for active and passive. I was hoping I could use both at the same time and just switch with an a/b pedal without unplugging, but you can’t use both simultaneously. A minor complaint, I really like it. Seems VERY powerful for it’s size.
The first ever fender signature model was made by stu hamm.
And it was… Wait for it…
Short scale.
I was thinking about getting this, but I am not sure yet, with my cab it would only be 110w, but I am getting it for recording more
I honestly don’t know why it is only $143, it is brand new.
I might get it on my amazon library card and see how it sounds.
It is either this or the TC Electronic BQ250
