Should I "NGD" my house?!

I live in a home that was built in 1973.

My PC/Amp/Monitors/Other PC/Microwave/Oven all appear to be on the same circuit. (plug in space heater ka-pow!)

I have a lot of noise in my amp/headphones/monitors anytime the volume becomes “pleasantly normal” that I suspect is a lack of grounding.

Anyone else dealt with something like this? This is the spot in my house for all this, so I was debating on asking an electrician to offer a solution.

Romex with ground wires was the industry standard by then (assuming you’re in the US), but there were some places that held onto knob and tube. What country and what’s the closest city?

I’m in USA, near Detroit MI, but in the 'burbs of Canton.

What does the fuse box/circuit breaker look like?

I’d be surprised if the oven isn’t on a dedicated 240v run.

We had a 240V line installed for dryer (the big top one)

There is a notable buzzing sound at the breaker as well.

(Edit: I could take a more high def pic if that would help)

WHAT DOES “NGD” stand for in the title.? (I googled it and “new guitar day” came up. )

It appears to me that you have a 100 A panel from the photo and it looks pretty full. As for buzzing and ka pow’s you may be overloading your panel or there is a loose ground. I would get an electrician. Maybe the electrician can put your music room on another circuit with less draw.

Thanks for info.

NGD generally means “near gear day” or “hey look I spent money”

Hehe.
