Fake news!!!

No, seriously: very helpful! I will try one more “trick” and then just get new pots if that does not work.
The black ones on the EMG’s are wonderful…

Yeah, really fantastic. The strong mids in the DiMarzios really do a great job cutting through.

Review (in Spanish - but you can set english sub titles):

Yay - the car sheet/foil/whatever has arrived!

On the left the silver-ish (kind of a metallic grey) is for the pickguard and control plate of Pink’s Hot. The black one for Ronin.

The material feels very sturdy and is flexibel at the same time.

(For people with eagle eyes: yes, the intonation screw on Pink’s Hot is missing. Going to replace it cause it’s too long).

Definitely think the silver will improve the pink one… Not quite sure why anyone thought pairing red with pink like that was a good idea.

Of course, I’m a fan of the Ronin personally cause I don’t do pink… :sunglasses:

“I’m only wearing black until they make something darker” - Course that quote predates vantablack but meh… still stands

I’d definitely put this carbon wrap on the Ronin.

Brass and they are heavy so they feel awesomely smooth.

In Germany they say "Schwarz ist bunt genug '!
I can relate to that too, being a child of the punk / wave 80s.

But pink is so not me that it is totally me, if you get my logic…

Love both!

NEVER those knobs, @Al1885! I’m a f#king peace loving liberal, remember?

Love my knobs! (never thought I would write that ^^)

ha! I love it. I found some t-shirts, I might have to procure one

Theoretically… yes… In practice… lol, over my dead body.

My mother loves pink, so its a bit of a family joke that she always wanted a pink, frilly loving, little girl… and she got me… the tomboy who gravitated to black by age 6, hated anything remotely resembling dresses, skirts, frills, bows, or flowery and insisted on playing rough and tumble with the boys. I am so glad I had a son, cause I know karma is a b*tch. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I said exactly the same thing! But then I was challenged. And challenging me always results in me doing (stupid) stuff

I have a dark soul, so Ronin reflects that very well. But Pink’s Hot is “a symbol of my individuality, and my belief… in personal freedom”, to quote “Wild at Heart”!

You do you, bro. Personally, I’ve never felt challenged by nor attracted to pink. Especially in a bass body color.

Perhaps in another lifetime. :innocent:

If it looks cool, then I’d do it without a second thought. Like, the Fender with the white racing stripes (adds 5 HP) is one that I’d happily own.

Or @Wombat-metal’s very cool “Herbie the Love Bass”!

Sure???

Exhibit A:

But of course, even better in none -pink!
