Very pretty bass.

It is very hard not to love a purple bass

While I’m not much given to naming my basses, this one may indeed earn a moniker. I think I’ll call it “Stingumathing”.

Here we are, noodling to the tune of a few exercises to accompany a late night dram.

It’s a beauty way to go

I never named instruments before (and refuse to name cars…). I just went “my Carvin, my Ibanez X or Y” but when I started heavily playing my 6-string Carvin, I just started affectionately calling it “The Beast” because it’s so big and heavy XD

That’s fantastic. Absolutely love the color. And the fretboard inlays.

I saw this album in a record store last week (I used to own it back when) and was so tempted to buy it and then forgot about it before I left. Might have to go back and get it if it is still there when I return.

So I picked up a Bass from a friend. It’s a Dean, but no idea which type. I checked the serial number and think it’s made in 2006 (in China) it looks like an Edge, and think it’s a quite cheap Bass guitar. But fine to start with now. The sound is not bad, but hey what can I say I have no experience yet

I really like the simple lines of that @Denise1 and would quite easily find room for it in my bass rack. Enjoy

Sure do, they have great feel and excellent style. I never picked up one that felt bad in the hands, they really feel well crafted and comfortable in every way.
That purple is something else @Koldunya, super cool, I would love one of those with 4 strings in Orange if they had it.

Nice bass! I love the grain on the body. Nice and minimalistic too. :ok_hand:

One pickup, two knobs. Like Dustys basses. Good start @Denise1, enjoy playing it!

She’s a beaut!

There’s a bunch of reviews of these on YT as well. While, of course, YT reviews are to be taken cum grano salis (or cum kilogramo salis as the case may be), you can get a fair idea of the tonal possibilities of this bass.

I love the looks.

I have one of those on my wishlist. I used to not like headless instruments but they have grown on me of late and their popularity is certainly increasing, too, it seems.

I’m currently enjoying an ESP LTD Stream-205, an ESP LTD Stream 204,

an ESP LTD FL-204 (used for this course), a Peavey Millennium BXP,

a Jackson JS3Q and a (cheap!) Rogue LX200BF Fretless.
