Thanks @eric.kiser
I agree man. This is crazy. Rolled frets and that sandwich maple thing is a killer I tell ya.
I know I keep the microfiber around, lol. I’m pleased that the B string is pretty tight.
Please get bored with it and make it available for sale in the future as close to the moment that I have the right amount of money in my pocket available for such an acquisition. Thank you for your consideration. Lol
My dad often told me: “Always ask. The worst they can say is no.”
Another one bites the dust?
Wow… that’s beautiful. Congratualtions @Al1885 !
Whoa! Just … whoa, @Al1885
Gorgeous!
Thank you @JerryP and @Ed ive been too sick to really enjoy it so far but spending sometimes on it yesterday really broke out the sweat which was a great sign.
That’s nice! The inlays are sick! Is that an ebony fretboard?
Yes, copper abalone inlays on ebony fret board.
That is the best ric copy I have ever seen.
Good work.
Turned out great @athosmr2003, how are you liking it?
Looks great! How’s it sound?
That’s what I want to know, how are the pick ups, are you going to keep them stock or find upgrades?
I’m having an issue with the E string…it sounds too muted in comparison to the others. Terry thinks it’s just a bridge pickup adjustment, but it’s really cool and fun to play.
Thanks @T_dub
I’m really like building basses. The Moolah Bass was fun to build but I think I’ll stick to kits like the Taxibacker
@John_E @T_dub I love the sound already but I suspect Terry will get it sounding perfect. So far, I like it better than anything else I have, and that’s saying a LOT. The only one that compares to it probably is the SR370E.
Right now, it would be incredibly tough to rank all 17 basses. They’re all very unique. I practiced with the Stingray today and loved it. That bass and the Taxibacker are both going to see Terry on Tuesday afternoon. I haven’t been to his shop since I bought the Stingray at Guitar Center in Rockford.
