Welcome @RolandDehli.
Wow, nice Sandberg. Is that weathered their vintage job, or is it actually road weathered and vintage from life itself.
Either way it looks awesome.

Thanks its a HCAR (HardCoreAgedReserve) from Sandberg.
I woke up this morning with no intention on getting a bass today.
I do however have some listings on Offer Up and Let Go.
One is for this Epiphone Les Paul Junior that I got for $40 to have here for a friend that lives in my complex, so we could jam. He ended up getting something he liked better, and is his. So I put it up for sale for $75, hoping to get a small profit, happy if it were to go for $45 even.
I also advertised “possible trade for a Bass, bass effects or recording equipment”. I have no idea what recording equip I want, just put it there to see if anything came up.
Anyway, I had one offer for $30 last night, I countered with $50 late last night.
I woke up to a message asking if I wanted to trDe for a black Squire Bass. My answer was “NO” of course…
Of course not, it was HELL YES!!!
Here is my new PRISTINE Squire Jaguar Bass
My first fender (Squire) bass, and first fender I have owned since I bought my ‘62 re-issue Tele back in like ‘94. I sold it in 2002 after my 2nd daughter was born. I was not playing as often, and had other guitars at the time.
Check it out. Literally fell into my lap.
I have not played it yet. I quickly borrowed a 9-volt from my SR300 to lug it into my Orange Crush 20b for a quick test (everything is good), and that’s all. Have a few things to do today, including getting more 9-volt batteries, then I will assess it and see if I need to adjust it, then I will give it a proper test drive, but right away, holding it, having it in the room and looking at it, I am super stoked on it.
Welcome @RolandDehli!
I looked for an Orange Pickguard for mu new Sub Ray. Closest thing I could find was black with orange and yellow flames, for like $56, and it was pretty cool, but I can’t really see putting a $60 pick guard on a bass I paid $90 for
Well, not for the flames, maybe if I can get the right orange color custom.
So, for a couple bucks, got some orange vinyl laminate and customized one.
FAAAAAARRRRRR from perfect. Actually pretty ghetto, but it will do for now.
Hah yeah I’d say you are, that’s a hell of a starter bass
very nice Sandberg.
You can say that again.
I am interested in the finish? I’m you said it is their heavy vintage design, but from the little bit I can see from the photo, it looks like Marcelo’s Wallace called up “Two, hard pipe hittin N!%%@$, to go so work on the Holmes, with pliers and a blow torch”
I mean, it looks like they hung it up and beat it like a Piñata. But it looks awesome.
Warwick’s custom shop website is like a straight stream of bass porn. They make a making of video for all of the customs too.
It’s a tad out of my price range pity!
You did see that shipping was free, right? That should help.
Pro level acoustic bass thumb rest install complete. I doubt you’ll ever see such craftsmanship as this in your life. Cheap wood from an old cigar case, hacked to pieces with some double sided tape
Unbelievably, it’s rock solid and works a treat!
Yeah - there’s a reason I own a Rockbass and not a MIG Custom Shop ‘wick
Here is a bit of the story, there is a longer one if you look up Sandberg at youtube
Here is the long story
Very nice, @Theron . . .
But then again, I may be a little biased . . .
Cheers and good luck with it, Joe
Sweet J bass @Theron
Oh for fornicate’s sake.
Stop tempting me.
