I started the course with a nice Kala Journeyman, but soon saw the limitations of learning on a uke bass. That gave me an excellent excuse to go buy this beauty. It wasn’t what I thought I was going after, but after trying out several it was the one that called to me.
Almost brand-new Fender Player Jazz. That’s my second Fender now, my first being a Deluxe Dimension IV. Odd that after all these years, I guess I’m becoming a “Fender guy”.
@JustTim You don’t have to label yourself anything. Your just on a Fender kick for now. A few years ago I didn’t have any Fenders now I have six. I like them cause they are modular and up until recently well priced (and keep their value for resell but thats just me).
I pretty sure if you had money to burn you post something like a nice Fodera and then you’d be the Fodera guy.
Enjoy that beautiful blue boom stick. They are great players and get the job done.
PS I’m jealous of you Cali folk. Nice pool opened during this time of the year while I stare at 3 feet of snow outside my door.
Dengit!!! @Al1885 That makes me miss my music room. We moved into a smaller place. Now they’re all hiding under the beds. Our bed. The kids beds. The hall closet… thankfully she hasn’t asked how many here are in a long time. Then there’s the pedal boards……
Btw look at this bloody difference.
Left side (or down) Mustang fretboard on which I used Dunlops 98 Lemon oil (3 soaks few months ago).
Right side (or up) this new Precision.
Both are Pau Ferro.
